I was looking for a backpack that can hold a 15.6in laptop at least. I searched for quite a while before I found this. The laptop compartment is roomy, but protected. The second main compartment can hold 4-6 single subject notebooks, but it is difficult to use internal compartments with too many notebooks, folders, binders, etc. It has two outer compartments where I keep the power cable, small external hard-dive, and pouch for mouse, flash drive, small cables, and other odds and ends.
I go back and forth from work to school, and need a bag for organizing and carrying all my school and work related items. I walk a lot on campus too, so a back-pack is most comfortable for me. It does have a water bottle holder that can be hidden away. This is a great bag, comfortable and lots of room, but for my purposes I would like just a little bit more space my various electronics, like hard-drives, cameras, etc. I may need something more content specific, geared towards photographers.
I gave it 4 stars because I would like it a bit bigger, but I realize that it is a sleek bag meant for air travel, and for that it is ideal.

this is just thr right size to fit under seat of plane but not much room for incidentals if you are going over night. A little heavier than I thought it would be but very efficient for security. You just unzip and lay it flat instead of fumbling to pull it out and then put it back in. I am not in to patent leather but it was the only selection for women in the backpacks, but I bought it soley for the eases of going through security and it definately meets that requirement.

This bag is great! Lightweight, lots of compartments for all my gadgets and plugs, don’t have to take my laptop out in airport security and fashionable. It is very well made and a great value for the price.
The only thing I would improve is the way the file folder section is made, hard to reach into since it is just a zipper compartment. Also I have no real good place to put my laptop power cord, I make do though since there are so many other perfect compartments.

I am 5′2″ and am always dragging around enormous bags for all my work stuff. Hard to keep up with people at the airport. LOVE this bag; doesn’t look bulky, holds all my stuff without looking overstuffed, and very comfortable on my back. Leaves hands free for other things (like Starbucks). Awesome!!!

This backpack/laptop bag is awesome! Light weight and room for lots of stuff in addition to the laptop. It says that it fits a 15.4″ laptop but my 16″ widescreen fits without a problem, and I am sure a 17″ widescreen would fit in it too. The bag itself is very lightweight so to carry it with a laptop isn’t a chore! I wanted a bag for my laptop that not only carried the laptop and other stuff, but looked good too, and this one delivers the whole package. Also, the fact that it is a checkpoint friendly backpack, meaning you don’t have to unpack your laptop at the airport checkpoints is really cool. Just unzip the bag, lay it flat and through the scanner it goes. Makes getting through the checkpoints with a laptop so much easier and faster.
I love this bag!!!!!
